Letter to Vee
Dear Vee, under neon lights so bright,
I write you lines in ink of night.
Between these pages, hear my heart,
A melody where dreams take part.
At lunch, I watch you laugh and glow,
A secret only I may know.
Your voice, a song, so soft, so true,
A whispered breeze the halls run through.
I sit behind you, row by row,
Tracing love in books we know.
You turn, you smile—my heart takes flight,
Lost in the warmth of borrowed light.
I may be young, just sixteen springs,
But love, I swear, is more than things.
It’s how you say my name just right,
Like poetry wrapped up in night.
So here’s my letter, simple, true,
A quiet world I give to you.
No rush, no end, just space to be,
Forever yours, sincerely, me.
